This handcrafted pot is created by traditional artisans practicing the renowned Azamgarh (Nizamabad) Black Pottery, a Geographical Indication (GI) recognized heritage craft of India. Each piece is individually shaped on the potter’s wheel using fine natural clay and kiln-fired through a traditional smoke-reduction process that gives the pottery its distinctive deep black tone and subtle natural sheen.
The pot features a carefully applied waterproof interior coating, making it suitable for decorative liquids, candles, incense arrangements, and small indoor plants. Minor variations in finish, engraving, and dimensions are natural characteristics of handmade craftsmanship and ensure that every piece is unique.
